Connect your AI app

Every app follows the same three steps: add the server URL, sign in in the browser, approve the connection. The examples use the production server.

EnvironmentServer URLSuggested name
Testhttps://test-api.apreceiving.com/mcpnuntiq-test
Productionhttps://api.apreceiving.com/mcpnuntiq-prod

If you work in several environments, add one server per environment, each with its own name. Each has its own sign-in and its own approval, and disconnecting one leaves the others connected.

1. Add the server

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http nuntiq-prod https://api.apreceiving.com/mcp

Add --scope user to make it available in every project.

Claude Desktop and claude.ai

Open Settings > Connectors, choose Add custom connector, give it the name nuntiq-prod and the URL https://api.apreceiving.com/mcp. Leave the advanced OAuth fields empty. A connector added on claude.ai is also available in Claude Desktop.

On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner of your Claude organization may have to add the connector first.

Cursor

Add the server to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (all projects) or .cursor/mcp.json (one project):

{
"mcpServers": {
"nuntiq-prod": {
"url": "https://api.apreceiving.com/mcp"
}
}
}

VS Code

Add the server to .vscode/mcp.json in your workspace, or run MCP: Add Server from the command palette and choose HTTP:

{
"servers": {
"nuntiq-prod": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://api.apreceiving.com/mcp"
}
}
}

Other MCP clients

Any client that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP with OAuth 2.1 (authorization code with PKCE) can connect. The server publishes its Protected Resource Metadata, and the authorization server supports Client ID Metadata Documents and dynamic client registration, so no client id or secret has to be set up in advance.

2. Sign in

Start the connection in the app:

  • Claude Code: run /mcp, select nuntiq-prod, choose Authenticate;
  • Claude Desktop and claude.ai: click Connect on the connector;
  • Cursor and VS Code: the app asks to sign in when the server first starts.

A browser opens the Nuntiq admin portal. Sign in as usual, with password or single sign-on.

3. Approve the connection

The page Connect an AI app shows which app asks for access and where it returns to. Check that you started this connection yourself. Under The app may, tick what the app may do (see the permissions you approve) and click Allow. The browser returns you to the app.

Your connections

In the admin portal, open your user menu and choose Connected AI apps. Each connection shows the app, its permissions, when it was connected and when it was last used. Disconnect ends a connection.

  • A connection ends after 30 days without use; you then sign in again.
  • A connection also ends when your account is deactivated or loses Use AI Configuration Access.
  • To change the permissions of a connection, disconnect it and connect again.
