Your first session

You talk to the AI app in plain language. It picks the tools; you read what it shows you and decide. A few good first questions:

  • "Which Nuntiq customers can I configure?" The app lists your customers and the AI access per group.
  • "Give me an overview of customer 10000001." Sections, item counts, how they relate, the 35 implementation steps with their state, the workflow versions, maintenance and recent changes.
  • "Where would invoice 2560 go from the Approval step, and which transition matches?" The app evaluates the step against the invoice's current data and the current workflow version. It cannot see the invoice's process history, so it cannot tell you what happened at the time.
  • "Which validation rules would fire on the last five invoices of supplier Acme?"
  • "Compare the enrichment rules of customer 10000001 with customer 10000002."

A typical change

  1. Read. The app reads the items involved and what refers to them.
  2. Test. Where a tester exists, the app tries the change against real invoices (rules, expressions, workflow steps, capture rules, file formats). Testers never save anything.
  3. Propose. The app proposes a change set and shows you the diff.
  4. Test the change set. The app runs the testers on the proposed change set itself, so you see the results next to the diff.
  5. Approve. You read the diff and say yes. Only then does the app apply it.
  6. Check. The change is in the Change History under your name with the app. If it is wrong, the app proposes a revert.

Tips

  • Name the customer. Every tool takes the customer number; there is no "current customer". Say it once and the app keeps using it.
  • Ask for the plan first. For larger work ("set up the approval workflow"), ask the app to describe what it will change before it proposes anything.
  • Use the guided prompts. For a full implementation, a configuration review, a supplier file format or a connector, start from a guided prompt.
  • Never paste secrets. Passwords, API keys, connector secrets and invoice documents do not belong in the chat. The app does not need them.
  • The portal is still there. Some changes are made in the portal only (see Security and data); the app tells you exactly what to change there.

Tell us what is missing

The MCP server is new. If the app cannot do something you would do in the portal, gives an answer that does not match the portal, or misses information a consultant needs, tell your Nuntiq contact. Include the customer number, what you asked and what the app answered.
